Golek Ayun ayun is a traditional Indonesian dance originated from Bantul Village, Yogyakarta.

the dance is for welcoming a honourable guest at the Keraton ( the kesultanan of Yogyakarta)

Golek ayun ayun is one of the "keraton dance" that was performed for nobles.. so,the main attention is aesthetic, spiritual, and gracefulness....
unlike "peasant dance" that focused on entertainment... so, the boundaries of the rules are quite strict compared to the peasant dance... it was accompanied by Gamelan Songs...
